More Riding into friends

Today was another day of riding into friends. My pal Chad and I rode up to a local bike shop where I was bringing in some gear to get assessed (A crust clydesdale that wouldn't fit a 49N 20" wheel). When Chad (who had helped me haul the gear their in the first place) ran into a friend, got chatting, and before we knew it we were out on the road the three of us together riding.

In the span of five minutes, a cheerful catchup turned into "Hey, we were going to go for a ride, do you want to come with us?" It's simple, but the serendipity always amazes me. So, the three of us rode to get some ice cream, enjoyed the sun, and then rode through High Park, where the crowds were out to enjoy the cherry blossoms. I actually haven't been able to ever see this spectacle, and it was beautiful, and the crowds were thick. After that, we rode down to the water, and I shoved my feet into the lake to see how cold it was. Very cold.

Spring is in full swing and today was a beautiful day. Everybody was coming out. It always takes me a few days to get used to that when the weather is particularly nice.
